Self-excluded people will no longer be able to work in casinos in Bulgaria. This is part of a strategy to combat the growing number of people who have given up gambling.
The NRA – Bulgaria National Revenue Agency – has implemented a ban for people on the self-exclusion register to work in casinos. Casino companies must also adhere to special regulations or they will face fines.
Bulgaria promotes responsible gaming through a self-exclusion program, allowing citizens to exclude themselves from gambling for two years. The growing number of self-excluded individuals demonstrates the effectiveness of this initiative.
The country is also tightening rules for entry to gambling establishments, including bans on minors, intoxicated persons and other risky categories.
This demonstrates Bulgaria’s commitment to responsible gambling practices, which is in line with global trends to protect vulnerable groups.
