Obtaining a license for the Ontario market underscores Amelco’s commitment to expanding its influence in the global iGaming industry. The company has already been successful in important markets such as the UK and New Jersey in the US.
The iGaming Ontario report for the first quarter of 2023 has also attracted attention. This report revealed that $14 billion worth of bets were placed between April and June 2023. Gaming revenue reached CAD 545 million, showing an increase of 3.6% from the previous quarter. However, the number of active player accounts decreased, but the average monthly spend per active player account increased.
